MAXIMVS is headed to his new home tomorrow... my new (possibly) ride...

I'll miss MAXIMVS but I know it is in good hands. I was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer, so I'm dealing with that and not saddling my wife with selling a race car if things don't work out. For now, the cancer is localized and has not spread so it's treatable. Chuck (snook)

MAXIMVS is headed to his new home tomorrow... my new (possibly) ride...

I actually bought two new cars. A 1958 Ford (yes I know) Country Sedan Station Wagon and a 1973 Dodge Charger SE fully loaded. The 58 wagon is completely restored with everything an old man needs to drive. 5.0 HO mustang motor, AOD trans, A/C, P/B, P/S and cruise. The 73 Charger is a 440 Car...

The 67 R/T was a bust. Too many rust issues. MAXIMVS is in its new home now. Good guy, has the right mindset. Chuck (snook)

MAXIMVS is headed to his new home tomorrow... my new (possibly) ride...

The 1963 Savoy "MAXIMVS" is going to his new home tomorrow afternoon. I'm not going to lie and say I won't miss him but a man has got to acknowledge his limitations as age and health limit me. The new owner will treat him well. My new potential ride is an unmolested 1967 Dodge Coronet R/T. The...

1962 New Yorker Station Wagon - NOT MINE - but it Interest's me...

If I bought it, it would be in the paint shop for a full paint. Not a fan of 'patina' jobs. The SW deserves a real paint job, IMO. Chuck (snook)

My NSS racing days are over. Time to move on and MAXIMVS will soon be for sale...

I was looking forward to the 70 GTX but his son wants to keep it, so that's that. Can't argue with that. I would have done the same. I've been offered a fully optioned 1967 Dodge R/T and that's another one that works for me, I've had two in the past and I've loved them both. So there's that...

SOLD 1963 Plymouth Savoy MAXIMVS - 35K OBO

I sat down and tallied up to what it would take to make MAXIMVS truly street worthy. I came up with a price that would allow a future owner to make it truly street worthy and that price is 35K firm. The car also comes with various spare parts including a 1965 big block push button trans (needs...

SOLD 1963 Plymouth Savoy MAXIMVS - 35K OBO

I'm willing to drop price by $3300 to cover cost of a 440 source 500CID stroker kit to bring it down to an acceptable level, that's what I was planning to do. I'm nothing if not unreasonable. I'm not trying to make a killing on the car. Chuck (snook)

Never tried it on pump gas. I use a avgas blend with 94 octane... Compression test at 205+ psi. Chuck (snook)

SOLD 1963 Plymouth Savoy MAXIMVS - 35K OBO

Still has the high compression motor with the MW 4 bolt valve cover heads. I figured that I'd let the next owner pick his own poison. Chuck (snook)

SOLD 1963 Plymouth Savoy MAXIMVS - 35K OBO

Selling my old race car since converted to street use. This is the conversion thread: The return of MAXIMVS... Price is 40K OBO. NOT a trailer queen. It needs to go to an active NSS racer and I'm getting too old to do what's necessary to do it justice. I'm flexible but not interested in trades...

I'm at the stage in my life where I need a Mopar that I can daily drive with A/C, P/S and P/B. I love my 1963 Savoy but it's becoming too much for a guy in his declining years. I started my Mopar days with a 1970 GTX and I've been offered a chance at a really nice survivor that checks all the...
