What size of alternator to use

Need some help figuring out what size amp alternator I need on my 67 GTX. Right now I just have a standard alternator on the car but with my electric water pump, electric fuel pump, dual fans on the radiator and fan on the transmission cooler the two batteries in the trunk aren't staying charged...

    400 or 440 build

I did a 512 stroker, used a 400 block, 440 Source rotating assembly, 240 trick flow heads with matching Trick Flow intake, Hughes solid roller, 683 lift 254 duration and had Jessie Bigsnell build a carb for me. Can't go wrong with the 400, stronger block.

    400 stroked to a 512 install, 1967 GTX

My oil pan was a 7qt from 440 source and the headers were Patriots from Summit. I'll take a look at the Doug's, thanks.

    400 stroked to a 512 install, 1967 GTX

It's funny you ask if I had a girdle, a buddy of mine mentioned that to me today. And yes I do, with the wind age tray and 3 thick rubber Moroso pan gaskets. The motor mounts are correct and new. My buddy suggested we might have to modify the mounts to raise the motor up to get the clearance...

    400 stroked to a 512 install, 1967 GTX

I looked at the TTI headers and boy are they proud of them $975 and up is pretty steep, then you look at all the footnotes about what other issues to look for. It's very frustrating that these performances manufacturer would do more research and development so we didn't send so many parts back...

    400 stroked to a 512 install, 1967 GTX

It's a 440 source oil pan and it still had the 727 transmission in the car no motor when I bought the car. Quite a few of you commented about the hemi k member, I ended up selling it for $500.

    400 stroked to a 512 install, 1967 GTX

I bought a 7" deep front sump from 440 Source and the headers were from Summit, I think they were called Patriot. I have the 240 trick flow heads, they have the angle plugs so several of the tubes had to be heated and adjusted to allow cleance just to get them installed. If I've learned one...

    400 stroked to a 512 install, 1967 GTX

Hello, my name is Terry and I'm the new guy on the forum looking for some advice. I've been installing a 512 low deck motor into a 1967 GTX, the car didn't have a engine when I bought it. It previously had a 426 Hemi so I changed out the hemi k member with a k member from a 66 Plymouth. I've ran...
