My son and I finally finished the 4.11 to more highway friendly 3.55 gears in the 78 Monaco. I looking to sell the 9 1/4” axle Richmond 4.11 gears for $150 plus shipping.
I located in the 10461 area.
The gears have less than 2k miles on them and are in excellent condition.
I will upload more...
I figured it out today.I noticed the hole in the sure grip didn’t look round so I loosened the bolts holding the case together and spun it a hair.
Now the shaft slides in and out easily.
I will definitely make sure to torque them.
I am changing rear 4:10 gears to more highway friendly 3:55 gears in my 9 1/4” rear axel. I removed the slide pin set screw easily. To remove the slide pin I had to beat it out of the sure grip. In any video or instructional information that have I read, this is not normal.
Once removed I am...
Great looking car. Horrible engine failure. I would think she would be going back to the seller to complain of the shoddy engine work they did and get some compensation on the rebuild.
Great. I just looked it up and a 850 cfm Holley is 5-6 lbs. with box dimensions you could get a good estimate to ship to 10461 on the ups and usps sites whichever is easier for you.
I have had the same issue for weeks now.
I changed to many parts and wiring with no progress. Until I changed the starter relay.
Now it starts every time no matter how hot.
I couldn’t believe it.
Wow that’s great. I need the right side light.
If I can find a pair from from a 77/78 coronet or fury they will fit also. They are a different lens completely on each model.
I have a 4 door car. I am sure it’s like finding a kneedle in a haystack.
If I do not locate one I guess I will have to make my own headlight covers.
Thanks
I will be pulling it out of the garage this week to break in the rebuilt motor.
It’s not stock. 440 60 over, 9.5 Comp, Comp cams .545 high intensity cam, fully ported and polished heads, 750 vac carb, 3600 Dynamic converter with 4.10 gears.
All work done by me and my son.
