I did try tinkercad a while back and forgot about it this time around. I use the free version of Fusion 360 and it seems overwhelming at times. I have read that pla is not the right material for vehicles due to the distortion factor in heat, I'd be interested to know if PETG works.
Thanks, but my "level" is hack at best. I did some searching on how to get to that shape, there's a lot of good tutorials out there.
If I get this better, I'll keep you posted.
Holy $#@&, and whatever expletive you want to insert, I spent way too much time searching for just that item! This article never appeared. There's is pretty nice. I might see if they have more info or a 3d file to share.
Being the cheapskate that I am, an not too picky, I decided that I would like to try to match some radio knobs to the factory ones in the dash (turns out my wiper knob is missing, as is my radio and knobs). Taking some photos, bad measurements (ruler/eyeball), I tried my hand at Fusion 360 to...
A long time ago, before kids, I started to collect parts for a Scarebird kit but even up parking the car for too long. Recently getting it back to where I can work on it, I priced out all the parts for it. At the same time I discovered the Invincibleextremes Musclecar kit (linked previously)...

So, stepping up to 0.630" knurl, I found Dorman 610-519: 1/2-20, 0.629" (or 0.630" some others have listed), 2.22". Still a good...
Fear not, I fell down the rabbit hole reading about the 5x114.3 vs 5x115 bolt pattern issues...I chose "better safe than sorry".
The specs for these wheels were:
Bolt Pattern: 5x114.3
Size: 18x7.5 in.
Finish: Black
Offset: +45 mm
Center Bore: 70.6 mm
While offset/backspace may not be ideal...
Hey Hubbarocks, I just posted some questions about this. Does that top collar come off if the column is still in the car? Did you have to pull the bearing off first?
Thanks
