Yep strip and recoat. They did warranty them without even seeing pictures, and they did pay to send back (sent a label) but still now I have to find a box, package, bring to UPS, and wait 5 weeks. UGGG cant win.
Thought I was installing motor this week but just noticed the surface rust on the less then a year old TTI headers. They are under warranty but TTI wants me to ship back for strip and recoat. Problem is 5 weeks turn around. This car ran for about an hour on these. Sat in my trailer for 9 months...
I bought them for my Satellite, They look fine but when you grab the inside to pull door closed you can feel the edge of the vinyl where it meets the foam. Kinda annoying.
I actually got them from McMaster Carr I believe they are made by ARP as when you buy extreme strength bolts through them they are stamped ARP. I ordered 3/8-24!

Driver side done. I was going to go all the way around to the bottom but with the K Member still in the car and headers in the way this option I think works. A little clean up with Roll-Lock disc and going to paint it.
I can’t get the water pump off without removing radiator no matter what, it has about an 1/8 clearance and falls between the fans. The issue without the studs (and why I’m installing them) is when I remove the water pump for whatever reason, the engine falls down and is a real pain to line back...
One piece plate. Superformance gaskets probably worth the wait. These Felpro one are thin and not really shaped to filt.
FYI for anyone looking for ARP studs for motor plate here’s the part# 250-3011. They are for a 9” ford pinion support. They work for bell-housing also!
I'm installing the 572 this weekend and was having issues with the motor plate leaking at the water pump. What would be the best way to seal it up without worry of leaking?
Aluminum block / Motorplate / Meziere water pump / ARP studs
Felpro Gaskets on either side?
Gaskets and sealant on both...
