It had some old gas in it, but I filled it up with fresh premium before I started it. Nothing in the directions does it say that the blue wire (or any wire) from the ignition module gets hooked to the coil. I have not had this new motor running with the stock points igntition.

I think it is in the ignition but I can't be sure. New motor (description in my sig.) I bought a Proform electronic ignition kit from Jegs (with the orange box) It runs "ok" (not great) in the garage in park. Under a load it runs terrible. I have checked the plugs, ohmed the plug wires...

Yes there are 2 wires hooked up to the voltage regulator. Do they both need to be hooked to the alternator?

I have 2 wires going to the "big terminal" on the alternator (with a nut on it) and 1 wire going to one of the field terminals.

Lets see those pics! I have a 68 Roadrunner that needs alot of work! Just a few more hours and I will have it running again. Just waiting to get the rearend back with the new gears and I can take it for a rip! Next year body work...then it still needs a bunch of new interior parts.

Does anyone have a diagram or pics of how this stuff goes back together. I just got the engine and tranny back in my Roadrunner after being out for 2 years. Now I can't remember how it goes back together!

My 68 RR 383 HP came turquoise. I know others have already said this about the 383 HP's but I see the list was never changed.
