It's in better shape than mine with some similar characteristics. Coronet 440 rear lights and emblem placement for a 500 roof line. Mine is a 500 with 440 rear lights but 500 emblem placements and roof line. Great project car.
I haven't tried this company specifically but I have seen this process applied on an Air Cleaner and something else under the hood to look like Carbon Fiber and it was pretty impressive. The owner seemed very satisfied with the results.
Wow, very impressed
Read the entire post, and if I wasn't already impressed with your welding, fabrication and paint (which I was) then I was in awe when you successfully used the kitchen sink and laundry room without getting shot by your wife. Mine fussed when I assembled my new engine hoist...
I like this layout as the first page, but I have that catalog and it's not the first page of the section. The section starts on page 24 not 28. This looks like a good first page to the 'section'. And broken out by A, B, C, E body would be great. Also make the B body parts cheaper than all...
I need one of these for my 65 Coronet, I assume it is a metal plate is that correct or is it plastic like the later ones? I see one on Ebay but it looks to be plastic...
Ok, I've read a bunch of these threads concerning cowl repair and it appears to be a common problem and my 65 Coronet is no exception. But other than the one guy I haven't seen anything where someone tried to address the cause "Leafcatcher". My car is a junk yard dog composed of about 5...
I need to do the same thing but on both sides. I found the LH pieces on Rock Auto as you suggested, much cheaper than Sherman for some reason. Did you find the RH lower portion anywhere?
I'll have to agree with Moparmarks and flypaper, not all lessons in life are fun, but they are lessons. In this case on who you can trust. Get your own car and learn from this. Not all partnerships work out for the best especially ones that deal with family or money. Good luck Jacob.
I removed the master cylinder from my 65 Coronet, someone has added front disc brakes at some point. Look to be from a '73 Swinger or something similar. Anyway, the brake lines coming from the master cylinder did not have any loops in them, but I notice on a 73 Swinger that I have the lines...
I met a guy at the Gartlis swap meet car show that specialized in 62 - 65B bodies. I don't know if he has it but it wouldn't hurt to ask. His name was Joe Suchy and his email address is: Joe [email protected]. Give him a try, seemed like a really nice guy, I bought a few parts from him.
Good eye, I couldn't even see the taillights, I was thinking a 73. Good call. I had a 74, loved that car. Almost bought another one to restore until I remembered how hard it was to find parts for it in '74 :-) Good luck with it, always loved the fenders and dash.
I have ordered from Herb's and I would have no problem recommending him. I've had one issue with him on a return, but once I mentioned FABO and FBBO forum he jumped on it with no problems :-) I'd order from him again.
