I think I'll drop the exhaust pipe on that side, clean it up and continue from there. That should give me enough room to get my hand in there. Side note: the kick down linkage is hitting the exhaust down pipe. It isn't binding up or anything but it shouldn't be hitting the pipe. I don't know if...
Yeah, I thought about that. Tough to see and tough to get my hands up there. (I'm laying on my back. Car on jack stands.) It's also covered in probably 50 years of grease. I guess the first thing might be to degrease everything up there.
69 Roadrunner 383. I'm trying to remove the valve body on my torque flite and I'm having a helluva time just getting the pinch clamps off the selector shaft levers. The plan was to replace the selector shaft seal. I've been reading posts, and people say how easy it is to get the valve body out...
I bought the 10.95" Dr. Diff front disc conversion kit with drilled and slotted rotors a couple years ago for my 69 RR and am in need of new rotors. Is there a specific rotor/company/OEM part I should be looking for to replace the ones I have? Anyone know?

Don't have to rev the engine as much after it warms up. 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd shifts seem OK when in normal driving mode, just a little sluggish off the line. Engine is stock except for Pertronix ignition. Timing is set...
I have been driving my 69 RR 383/727 car for almost two years now and I feel like the trans might be loose or slipping. When I put it in drive or reverse it just kind of slides into gear, as opposed to a solid (I don't want to say clunk, but I will) clunk. I can rev the engine up and it takes a...
So I've been looking for an answer to a question and this seems like a likely place to ask it. If I run a #6/8 wire from the alternator to the starter relay do I splice it in to the harness somewhere or do I just run an additional wire from the alt to relay? I have a 2 or 3 wire harness coming...
So I pulled my front rotors today because I had a pulsing in the pedal on a hard stop and I thought maybe they were warped. (I have drums on rear). I took them to an O'Reillys because they said they could turn them. I finally had to call them to find out the status and they said they couldn't...
