FRont and Rear Bumper Installation oin 67 Charger

I installed the rear bumper yesterday. I put the brackets on first and then fastened the bumper to the bracket. I installed the bumper guards first to hold the bumper onto the brackets and then I installed the bumper bolts to each end. Once hand tightened , I lines everything up and tightened...

Chrysler pentastar medallion on taillight lens?? Never seen this before on a 66-67 Charger.

I understand, I would probably leave them there as well. It makes for good conversation at a car show

Chrysler pentastar medallion on taillight lens?? Never seen this before on a 66-67 Charger.

I agree with Redbeard. With regard to the vinyl top, I understood that one could be ordered from the factory in 1967 and the dealers also installed vinyl tops after the car was delievered. The difference is the way the dealer trimmed it out at the rear of each quarter. The dealer used a...

Chrysler pentastar medallion on taillight lens?? Never seen this before on a 66-67 Charger.

I agree. I just restored my rear tailight assembly and this was my first time taking it apart and re-assembling it. I can only imagine that the pentastar emblem has a sticky back and he just placed on the lens. To each his own I guess.

Chrysler pentastar medallion on taillight lens?? Never seen this before on a 66-67 Charger.

I was looking at the attached 1967 Charger You Tube video from Hardwood Motors and I saw a Chrysler Pentastar emblem on the left side rear tailight lense. I have never seen that before and the description of the car siad it was an original one owner car from Arizona. I have posted a few...

FRont and Rear Bumper Installation oin 67 Charger

Thanks for both comments. When I removed the bumpers by myself, I set jack stands under the bumper to hold it in place while I removed the brackets. When I was laying out my newly rechromed bumpers and bolts, I forgot how light the bumpers really are, and it gave me the idea to install the...

FRont and Rear Bumper Installation oin 67 Charger

I want to know what is the best way to re-install my bumpers and brackets? Should I install the brackets onto the car frame and then install the bumper or does it make sense to install the brackets onto the bumper and install as one unit? I removed years ago when I started my restoration and...

Don, I like the spinner hubcaps on your car. Are those on the 15" wheel?

    Wheel Compatibility

I have a 67 Charger, Measure the width of your dog dish covers before you buy anything. There are two different sizes 9" and 10" dog dish covers. I ordered a new set of 14" wheels from Coker Tire, waited 6 months, and the ring in the center was 10" wide and my covers didn't fit. I learned the...

1967 Charger - Front Chrome Fender "C" Molding hardware needed

Just spoke with them and they have 5/8" long , Part# 94105A316 (Pack of 50 for $10.85) or the stainless screw is #94355A198(pack of 25) for $6.82. So once installed into the molding, I should have 7/16" remaining on the stud to accept the nut. So I will probably go with the stainless part. I...

1967 Charger - Front Chrome Fender "C" Molding hardware needed

All good points. My original idea to use a stainless screw, screw into the molding for fit, cut off the head and get the nut in place, then remove and re-install and see how well it holds before I reinstall the thread with loctite. I also was thinking I could install the screw on with loctite...

1967 Charger - Front Chrome Fender "C" Molding hardware needed

I bought a new pair of C moldings for my 67 Charger from Year One. Year One advertisement stated that they don't provide the hardware. There are machined studs that screw into the C molding and you secure with a nut. I want to know if there is a source for the 8/32" threaded post that is...

WTB Wanted: throttle linkage double threaded rod for 67 Hemi dual quad setup

In Naples Florida finding a "shop" that would make this piece would be near to impossible. We have no tradesmen that have a shopslike this. If I lived in the Detroit area, Erie Pennsylvania, Chicago area(my hometown) or any Midewest town, yes I could probably have it made. I found a linkage on...

WTB Wanted: throttle linkage double threaded rod for 67 Hemi dual quad setup

Thanks, I saw that as well but all I need is the threaded rod. I was hoping that maybe someone might have the threaded connecting rod only that they would sell to me. I also found on EBAY and made an offer today.
