My windshield had some marks in it that were more like “mars” than scratches, couldn’t catch a fingernail, and a lot of pitting. I buffed it with a 50-50 mixture of rubbing compound and pumice hand cleaner. I got the mars out and some of the scratches, but couldn’t do anything about some hazing...
I used a Battery Tender Jr. on my motorcycle, and came to the conclusion that it boiled the water out of the battery over time (a couple years).At least it seemed that way. I now use a timer ahead of the tender so it comes on for two hours each day. Time will tell.

On my ‘98 2500 Cummins I could change the filter from above with a pliers-type wrench. The ‘05 and my current 2012 has to be done from below. I welded a 3/4 nut on the bottom of a cup- style wrench, and with 12” of extension, off it comes.
I’m running 3.23’s with 14 wheels, with my gear vendors. Turns about 2100 rpm at 60 mph. Stock torque converter, and it seems to be working well. Easy cruising at 75 mph. Have driven it about 1000 miles so far.
I installed Meter Match. I adjusted the sender so the sock is right at the bottom, played with float arm. Spent a full day putting fuel in and out of the tank and adjusting the Meter Match. Best result I got is the gauge reads 3/4 when the tank is full, completely empty when it gets to the “E”...
