1969 Plymouth GTX Clock Lamp question.

I managed to get it out. It has a ring of metal tabs that press against the opening holding it in place. I took a very thin flat blade screwdriver and worked it out. No turning required. Thanks for the previous posts.

1969 Plymouth GTX Clock Lamp question.

Thanks. I've tried twisting and and pulling but it wouldn't move. I was worried to break it as I've seen how much the clocks go for online. I'll give it another shot later this week and hopefully have it swapped out.

------------- I've edited it to narrow it down to the province :). I think I've found tonnes of stuff on there via Google searches. Decided to join to ask the clock lamp question.

1969 Plymouth GTX Clock Lamp question.

I'm currently restoring a GTX and one of the things is to replace all lamps in the instrument cluster. I recently tried to remove the lamp socket from the clock but it will not budge. I'm worried that I'll crack or destroy it. Any ideas on how to coax it out? Thanks.

Just joined the site and currently working on restoring a 69 GTX. Great site! Edit... Whoops... Guess this should have been in the Welcome Wagon thread. Sorry.
