This will be my first time bonding them as ive never had them come off before..Theres not much of a lip to apply whatever adhesive i will use so its got to be strong stuff..
Any thermoquad guys here? What can i use to bond the primary jet wells back onto the plastic mid section? Whatever the factory used is white..Thought about JB weld but not sure. Obviously it has to be rated for use with gas.

After fighting to keep this 440 cool for many years, i went with a direct bolt in 22" cold case and am VERY happy! It keeps this thing so cool that its hard to keep the temperature high enough! Completely happy! Before i could only drive the car so long before it would finally just get too warm...
No not for that, i just thought about installing a manual VB and getting a floor shifter..not sure yet though just thinking. Im not worried about that 2-3 shift now that youve said its ok and wont hurt anything, not a big deal just didnt want it to ruin the trans.
Haha, i only wish i could pull the front end off the ground in mine!! Just a dream for me! Mine is only around 450 Horse. Hoping to eventually make more power.

I will try loosening a half turn as you say and see what happens. now this doesnt cause any issues like making the band wear out quicker or anything by adjusting this does it?
I have a 440/727 combo. Just cruising, when it shifts from 2nd to 3rd, it feels like the rear tire locks up for a split second..when going wide open, it doesnt feel like that, just shifts firm and instant but i swear, when just driving easy, the rear tires lcok up really quick, ive even heard it...
messed with it for a while today. Filled it up with 93 octane, not ethanol free but will next time now that i know where to get it. 1 thing i found was the vacuum dash pot that holds the secondary air door closed until the right time was blown out, so replaced it with a good one. Seemed to help...
