when you work with asbestos brake shoes wet them down first that will settle the dust use soapy water then you can use aerosol brake cleaner wont be blowing the dust all over you
send it to the machine shop when u have rust in the cylinder hope like h they can bore it out or put a sleeve in but it is a total rebuild to save the motor spend the money do it wright
put some alumnium heads on it probably cheaper than redoing yours but 180 compression is pretty good so u might have to much timing play with that first
