no i dont have a different yoke. the only one the late owner had laying around was still attached to a drive shaft that looked like it had been dug up from a salt pit. so we recycled it.

checked the ujoints and the yoke depth. u joints look new and no slop , yoke depth is very similar to the picture. since this is my first 833. how much of a gear wine is there usually? it wines about 1/2 as loud a normal reverse gear taking off . after that the exhaust noise drowns out the wine.

it says its for an automatic not for a 833. since i dont know if or when the trans as was last went threw thew i will pull the trans and rebuild it after the mopar show in belvidere.

well rotating the drive shaft the yoke would flip and cause a thumping sound. the play is in the tail shaft bushing. there is enough play that you can see the yoke fall in the bushing.
