Mainly I was looking at replacing the coil because I do not care for a yellow coil. This set has been on the car for 20+ years now. I'll just leave it alone.
Absolutely. Anything more then very light hazing is almost impossible to remove. And if you do it will show distortion from the waves, that's if you don't crack it trying to polish it that much. The heat generate will crack the glass.
Some guy said it would burn up, told him it's been on the car for 24 years like that. So then the question is which coil, voltage, ohms etc. The current Accel 1.4 ohms pri/ 9.2k sec. What pri ohms do I need to stay within?
My 63 max wedge clone has the over the counter Mopar electronic distributor that has the mechanical tach drive, no vac advance. The ignition box is a light gold color. I currently have an Accel 8140 coil. Wanting to replace the coil. What should I get? It's in a laying horizontal position, I was...
Figured on replacing spark plugs in max clone engine. Plugs I removed are Champion RJ14YC. All the books say should be RJ12YC. The 14 is hotter then the 12. Think I should go to the RJ12YC? And since I have no radio going to a non resistor is OK?
He has his own dual aluminum 15/16" bore which is the way I'll probably go. He makes the firewall adaptor for this master and the new lines and brass block is a Inline tube item. I would prefer to keep my single master but I think it may be starting to leak and I'm leery of the replacement ones...
Well Dr Diff just texted me. He has the master and pointed me to the hardline set up. They take a different approach by making a new multi port brass block that comes with the 2 lines going up to the master. I'm assuming my stock front and rear hardlines will connect to this new brass block.
It's a simple changeover on this car. The distribution block is located below the master on the frame rail. Single line from master to block, then there is a line to crossover to right front brake, another line to left front brake and another line to the rear brakes running down driver side. All...
They don't list anything on their website, I sent an email, doubt they respond. Seems most business never respond to email. I hope I was on the right website.
Know of anyone that makes a bolt on dual master conversion for 63 B body? I'd like master and necessary hardlines to convert. Looks fairly straightforward as the TEE for all lines is right below the master.
I went to him for the choke cable clamps I need for my 3447 carbs. He makes them and he will be out for a bit, which I understand because I also manufacture items and the economics and lead time always play a role in getting parts. So other than needing the clamps I started explaining all my...
