You assumed that I cut the car to make it fit... I never said I did.. And no difference between cutting the firewall to make it fit or , cutting fenderwells for headers or the trunk for bigger tires, car is still cut to make it fit something it never came with..
Have some more dinner, seems...
You said it wouldn't fit... yet it did... and waste of good engine yet ran low 10's on pump gas, sounds to me like a good one.. Even doing same make drivetrain swaps can require some cutting, I know putting a 4spd in my car required a nice chunk of the floor removed..
Hope dinner was tasty..
Street driven for 15yrs, low 10's on pump gas, the 440 was to see how a Hemi would fit and found had too much fun with this setup. Said fenderwell clearance was more than a B-body.

You hit it with the length.. look at the thread length on this, then look at a K772 from Moog, his threaded portion is lot longer and bet the thick washer is used as a spacer, and even then there is a probably lot of length from where the castle is on the nut. If it came from where I think...
This kind of blows his theory out of water.. it's for 10 spline yokes, not 26 spline that OP most likely has.
And if you think this is just Dr Diff trolling.. all I need to do is bleed and back on road from him. All I supplied was fluid and bearing grease.
For the OP.. try Yukon Gear if you can't find a good OEM set. They still sell them in 3.55 and 3.73 for the 41 case. Richmond stopped carrying any gears for that case awhile ago.
I ran into this 10yrs ago and Edelbrock asked me to send the distributor (8386) to them so they could evaluate it for modifying the head design. Guess they didn't consider it worth doing considering all the other distributor interference's. I used tape to leave a witness mark and used a file...
Hagerty has a good article on tires.. I know mine were on car for 19yrs, and while not dry rotted, they were hard as a rock.

And one thing you hope to never see on your new tires..
