Looking for a cut of the upper cowl area along the bottom of the front window Would need just a few inches all the way across. Is that something that’s possible?
I stuck my light and phone down there looking for any holes or anything that looks and i didn’t see any further down in the lower cowl area. When it’s pulled apart I’ll know more for sure
I was also thinking the same thing I’m just hoping someone has attempted it before me just so I know. But it looks so similar maybe I need an E body guy to take some measurements of that window area to see how close it actually is
The body shop could make their own however this would be much less labor intensive and would save money if I just purchased a new cowl and cut the upper half off to use I only need the top 1/2 of the cowl of so just where the bottom of the window sits
Correct but I can’t find any b body ones that match the look of mine. The one in the pic matches the look of mine from the pictures although I do realize it says E body
Hello! My car (1971 satellite) has some rust in the upper cowl area just below the window. I’m wanting to purchase a new one and cut from it and replace what needs done. Am I correct that this one will work? I can’t find any that state 71/72 bbody. I found some for 68-70 bbody and they do not...
Hello everyone! So starting to try and stock up on stuff. I’m looking into emblems but I can’t for the life of me find what ones I need for my car. Would I have one on the trunk lip and under the rear windows on both sides or? I can’t find any clear info
Honestly these pictures make this seem very doable. How long was this process and how was it lining everything up correctly after, (putting torsion bars back through)
After looking at it, yeah it seems like this spot just holds water like crazy! That’s unfortunate wish I was more aware before I purchased but that’s how these things go! I’ll get it there eventually!
At the door hinge areas? Those appear good, I haven’t taken the interior apart to see underneath but the pics before I got the car show a decent amount of the metal under. Cowl vent area is there a specific area to check? Again it looks decent like nothing major missing
