Put the old distributor cap back on and start from there. Recheck everything you took for granted. Firing order to plug wires. Did you also change the rotor? If so put the old one back on and reestablish the base condition and you will find your problem.

I need a 1969 2875560 starter with date codes from September to Middle of November 1969 for my 1970 Challenger. Will also accept correct dated parts such as a barrel. Appreciate the help.
Thanks for the tip. I do have a new Demon so I'm not totally brainwashed. Also have had probably 10 Dana 60's in my life for street and drag cars. So I know a good bit about those rear ends. I'm sure this is going to be an adventure!
