Good luck. After reading the original post, I ordered a set. Amazon shows them as being delivered today "left in the residents mailbox". No package to be found and wouldn't fit in the mailbox anyway. I contacted the seller (PartsHawk) and we'll see what happens.

No they don't . The secondaries on a dp don't even come into play until the primaries are open about 40-50 %. Most around town driving will be accomplished on the primaries only.
I looked at some pics from the AMF site and I betcha some of those panels are hand formed ,not stamped. Atrocious is a word that comes to mind. Better than nothing, I suppose. Expect them to require quite a bit of work to look good.
I'm not sure I understand. You replaced an entire set of lifters because a few collapsed ? And then you replaced that set too? And then another set ? Why not just replace only the defective ones ?
The only way fat tires on front look good to me is when the car is done up as a road racer or old Nascar style. I wouldn't be surprised if you have to radius the fenders to get them to fit without rubbing. Otherwise the car may have to sit too high and look funny. No personal experience ...
