Almost thru with retiring my 67 gtx. First thing to do is disconnect the alternator hot wire and the voltage regulator hot wire so that you can leave the ign switch on while you are testing the wiring. Get a wiring schematic. Study it closely. Sounds like the hazard switch is the correct one...

I was able to pick the lock after a little while. Made some picks from looking online at different types out of an old wiper blade stainless rib. Worked great. Was able to put in the new stuff. Thanks for all the feedback.

Guys, anyone have a "how to" for removing the old ignition lock cylinder from the ignition switch when you do not have the old key?

Hey pops. Need some help. Do you have any pics of how the brake system bezel is mounted to the dash, and what is on the back side that the lite bulb connects to?
