WTB 1969 Coronet RH Headlight Bezel

Looking for a 69 Coronet RH headlight bezel. I will strip down and repaint so as long as it is in good shape with no major scratches and dents that is fine. Shipping to Raleigh NC.

    Tail light restoration

Getting ready to “restore “my 69 Coronet tail lights. Not looking for a concourse restoration, just something that looks nice for cruising around and an occasional drive-in car show. I have thoroughly washed with soapy, water and nylon brush the entire assembly. Car was very very sloppily...

Eyebrow and tail trim panel restoration/stripping

Oh, believe me, I’ve seen that restoration thread. I’m very impressed and intimidated at the same time lol. If mine were an original super bee that’s definitely the route I would take, but was hoping I could find something a little simpler, maybe not. Main reason I went with a clone was because...

Eyebrow and tail trim panel restoration/stripping

Finally, getting around to starting restoration on some trim pieces for my 69 Coronet. Originally a 440 package, but I will be doing a Super Bee clone. I need to strip the black paint off, clean and repaint in the correct design for the super bee. First question, what would be the best way...

SOLD Free. Stock K member and 8 1/4” rear end.

I have a stock K member with LCA’s and 8 1/4 inch rear end with axles out of a 1969 small block dodge Coronet. K Member is in good shape, but I did cut the two struts to get tension off so I could remove the front suspension. The rear end is in good shape I believe but two pan bolts were...

Lower spring plate seems too narrow

Believe it or not I always do, but that was the one thing I missed.

Lower spring plate seems too narrow

Thanks everyone. Don’t know how I missed that. I’m gonna chalk it up to my bronchitis/fever lol. Now I need to delete this post before others see how much of an idiot I am. Thanks again

Lower spring plate seems too narrow

Good point, I didn’t take pictures before I removed so I was looking at the shop manual at their diagram. Pretty sure this is the way it showed them going on, but maybe I need to double check.

Lower spring plate seems too narrow

Reinstalling the new rear end and suspension. New 8 3/4 rear end from Dr Diff, new heavy duty springs/bolts/front hangers/rear shackles from Mancini. Reusing my lower spring plates from my original suspension. It was a 318 car. Seems like the lower spring plates are too narrow. See picture. Are...

    Axle flange gasket different scenario

Mine didn’t come with the steel gasket, just the compressed foam

    Axle flange gasket different scenario

I just ordered a set. That’s why I was wondering if they are even needed with the inner seals and green bearings. Won’t hurt to use them. And the black gaskets sent are just the felt material without the raised ring. I’m guessing the new style bearings changed thoughts on what’s exactly needed...

    Axle flange gasket different scenario

That’s what I was thinking as well, but the white foam gasket wasn’t included. Didn’t know if any of those were needed or not since it has the green bearings. The inner seal is installed also.

    Axle flange gasket different scenario

I’ve read numerous posts about the gasket but not one matching my senario. Just received a new housing/ 8.75 rearend from Dr Diff. It has the new green sealed bearings installed on the axles. Does the supplied gasket go b/w the housing and brake back plate or b/w the brake back plate and axle...

WTB WTB Front Bench Seat (with headrests) for a 1969 coronet

Looking for a front bench seat for my 69 Coronet. Really just need the frame but if it’s already covered, that is fine. Would love to have one with headrests similar to picture. Thank you. Bonus if it has a fold down armrest similar to second picture.

    Steering column gap

Good evening, I have finished restoring and assembling my steering column (69 coronet). As you can see from the picture, I have too much of a gap between the steering wheel and the housing. So much that the horn roller that makes contact with the ring on the back of the steering wheel isn’t...

    Column shift indicator restoration

Anyone have any ideas how to “darken” the letters/numbers in the clear plastic indicator? Unfortunately, they are smooth, would be much easier to freehand if they were raised. I’m afraid I wouldn’t be able to freehand it and have it crisp and not look homemade. Obviously painting the back white...
