It sounds like it's coming form both sides, more towards the rear of the engine, and maybe I f'd up cuase I didn't soak the lifters before installation, but I did prime rotate a number of times and even primed and rotated it several times before initial start up

I haven't the time to actually run it down the road other than a few miles, I was just wondering if anyone has had this issue with the lunati brand or if I'm just overthinking things and just need to give it a good long run,

Correction on my preload, not .002, I ment .020 by dial indicator my bad been working crazy hours and lil time at the house ‍

No I'm not running any crazy heavy springs, and just running flat tapet hydraulic lifters with roller rockers only, I guess I will just have to run it more, I only got about 30 miles on the build, thanks for the info

Thanks, I don't remember exactly which style of actuator I have as it's been about 2yrs since I rebuilt the transmission. But I'll take a closer look when I pull the switch out again

Just curious on this topic as I have some what of the opposite situation, my reverse light stay on in drive. Reading through this thread, wouldn't I be able to just shim the switch out to get the same results instead of buying 10 different switches to find the right length?
