my buddy had a 71 that looked just like that one. I wanted it bad, but he swapped it for a nissan. a 4 door is lighter than a 2 door, and can be just as fast. I saw a tired looking 67 coronet wagon today an got visions of big meats and tinted windows...ok im sick. really if it had some guts I...
if you want a driver, and it has points now I would buy the pertronics conversion . its a self contained electronic ignition that installs in place of the points. it is a great performance ignition and user friendly.
on the motor mount deal..keeep the mounts on the engine when you pull it out...
the 71 - 74 Charger has room for two engines front to back under the hood. Any B body has more room than Most cars under the hood. the 73 and later have more room than the 68-72. If these cars had more height you could get a Cummins under there without a problem.
The big trunks are sweet.
I need a good clean set of torsion bar adjuster blocks and adjuster bolts for a 73 and later B Body these are about 1/2 to 3/4 inch wider than the older and A body ones. im not in a big hurry, but know i will need them, and they seem to be unavalible as repops yet. reply here or IM me if you...

sorry man, was a bit tired n cranky that morning.
I do agree about beefing up everything...everything but the part that you prefer to have fail. if you take a hard curb shot (in my case wall) something HAS to give. if you make lowers too tough you end up replacing or repairing the K member. for...
it will be fun, it is taking a ton of time, but till i get to motor it will not be expensive. Ive been around mopar stock cars since like 89 so this is nothing new, but I did get out of it for 4 years. i found this to be a hard addiction to give up. this time around Im building a top notch car...
Building a mopar chassis street stock race car. its a 73 B body front and rear stub. built at 110 inch wheelbase. it will have an aspen body. LOTS of fab work here. This WAS a straight super late model that was raced last year. it was an old car and I got a great deal on it for what i neaded.
on what planet? maybe if you look at the outside the 71-2 look the same as the 73-4, but if you put them on a hoist you will see that the only chassis parts that did not change were the steering box ,center link and tie rods. in 73 everything went isolated and cushy. great for hiway drivers, bad...
