    Rotted out under my accel pedal and would like some input.

    Be careful when doing floor work while the car is jacked up. Once you cut the old stuff out, the body can twist. I would suggest Putting the car back on its wheels before replacing the pan.

    If it were me I'd spot blast the area to get a true idea of how bad the Rust truly is. Patch as necessary , treat, seal paint.
