That's a fair price. I can't tell what Im working with in the pictures. Could you remove them and take some higher quality or closer pictures? I really only need 1 D to complete my set if your willing to just part with a D O I will pay you 30.00 if it's Decent or more if it's really good...
I know this thread is old, but I have to ask.... do you have any of the dodge letters on the rear of the coronet 500 ? I need a D or will buy all.
Thanks,
D
Hi Bo~ If you don't have any original letters, you would need an OEM parts book. Search the Net for One. Maybe someone could chime in on here with the numbers.
Dave
Still looking for 1 D for my 69 Coronet. I gave up on the narrower correct letters. I believe other models of the 68,69 Coronet have the last D I need to complete the set. These letters have the same pin alignment and spacing as the correct 500 & RT models but are slightly bigger. Anyone out...
Your right... hard to find the truth out there... been there and done that stories are a dime a dozen. How hard do you use or abuse your centerforce... and which disc series do you use.
My pedal ratio is stock, which is more than 4:1 changing that is too much hassle. I do not want hydraulics. The reason the clutch is stiff is it's a way stronger than stock pedal effort. 2900 lb diaphram clutch using the stock over center spring. I can drag race with this single disc clutch...
What kinda torque and gears are you torturing the CF dfc ? I want to try one, but I need convinced it will live behind my 410 geared torque monster. My 440 wicks up like a 327 and delivers an extreme broad torque load from off idle up to 4800 rpms.
I have been fighting my 2900 lb single Mcleod clutch since I installed it. Super heavy pedal pressure, linkage is not heavy enough to handle a 2 men and a boy clutch effort.
I talked to Mcleod tech and they agree that clutch is a monster and they recomended using the RST clutch. The tech...
Wookie ~ check out my photo gallery.. I have a 69 b body. I discovered the angle of the trans was so steep, I was forced to cut open my tunnel and widen it to move the trans up a full 2". This is as far up as you can get it without having to modify the factory upper cross member. With out...
No.. not the 500 or rt ones... I am going to use the slightly larger less refined regular coronet D O D G E letters..they have the same pin spacing and alignment. I will file of the casting imperfections and paint them black.
If you decide to part it out, I would like some parts off of it. Looks pretty far gone to bring back, unless someone is willing to spend some serious bucks on sheet metal replacement. To do it right, which this car deserves it. your looking at 40 K + just to media blast lead the seems,sheet...
Wtb 1969 dodge coronet deck lid (d o d g e) letters ANYONE Help me out here ?
Looking to buy a set of DECK LID DODGE LETTERS for my Coronet 500. These are individual letters aprx 3/4" high and 1 3/4" wide.
See Pics > D= PART # 2784488 O= PART # 2784489 G= PART # 2784490 E= PART #...
Did you add any support for the absence of torsions bars and the extra force of the coil overs ? Most people use inner and outer fender support tubing to help with front torsional stresses on the frame. XV has a kit that includes engine compartment triangulation brace, lower core support and...
Nice... I was getting pissed I couldn't find them. You know how it goes when your project spans years and years... I bagged em and lost em.... couldn't remember what they looked like. I remembered seeing these, but thought they went to my convertible top well mounts.
Thanks again !
Dave
