I am not crazy about the RH drive but I love the rest. Anything Steve touches turnes out great. He showed me concept drawings for this car about 6-7 years ago when he was here in town to start out Power tour. It turned out killer IMO

That should be a good indicator for a ballpark. Its original paint and a better color and options but has a little rust and does not run. I would say over all they should be similar in value.

The problem is not Barret Jackson. Its always been what it is along with many other auctions. The problem is BJ being on TV for the world to see now. The 300.00 4 door parts car behind ma and pa farmers barn is now worth 10K in there eyes.

Have you considered the M/T drag radial instead? They hook very well and drive a lot nicer on the street.

Congrats on the find. Its good advise to get it running and drive it.

As long as the contour of the metal is similar it should work out pretty good. The trick is not keeping the metal from warping. It WILL warp. Its knowing how to get the metal back to shape after you shrink it from the welding.
