I find the easiest way to deal with it is delete the wells entirely and mini tub them to put better rubber on the ground! I have a 73 with the built 383 in process of being worked on. Body sucks but dealing with it slowly! I am gonna run 295/60/15s on the rear when done. ALread measured for depth!
Sounds great. I have been thinking about doing that. It looks great like that. I am not crazy about the standard headlight setup. Wish they had not discontinued the option for 73.

bluefury, i have a 1973 Charger that needs a total rebuild. Dipping you say works best on rust of which mine has an abundence. what kinda price range should I expect plus the e-cote? I am in washington state. home of the evioro nuts!!! Help!
