    Yes rings and bearings, probably putting a stock eliminator profile cam back in it. I had a Lunati RL stage III cam in this engine back in the late 80's and early 90's. .520 lift but a long duration. Hoping the heads will check out ok. Freshen up the trans and will make a converter change...

    Yes it's an original HC Max Wedge steel front end car with aluminum front end that I added in 1991. Max Wedge engine from carbs to pan.

    Well after 32 years in the car it's time to pull the engine and trans out of the "tan car". Best et and speed was 11.91 @ 116 mph. Replaced the entire brake system front to back earlier this year as well as the fuel system. Rear end is all fresh, time to top it all off.

    I have done that since we live out in the country, didn't take a video. Engine feels strong but need a track where I can get some feedback...60 ft. and at least an 1/8 mile ET and speed.

    Oil and filter, fresh belts, fresh Hoosiers, tach mounted and hooked up, fuel cell vented. Can't live with this throttle linkage though. Still a few tracks open through Oct. for test n tune. So close...
