I'm looking at the description for this shroud on jegs and summit. It says it fits 16" fan blade. I measured my fan blade at 18".
Wondering if anyone here has that shroud and if an 18" will fit in this shroud.

I'd like to reduce the ambient temperature under the hood. I'm wondering if switching from a copper/brass radiator to an aluminum radiator will have any effect.
Not running headers. Don't currently have a fan shroud.

I'm tearing down a '69. 383 and am wondering if the used stock rods are worth anything in resale value. Is it worth the effort to press them out or are they scrap bin material?
Stock exhaust manifolds 2532464 and 2463107-2. Heat riser is froze. They are currently on a 69 383.

I picked up a 69' 383 engine a couple years ago. I was planning on a complete rebuild someday. Last week I took the intake and valley pan off and found that a majority of the pushrods are bent. The motor isn't locked up.
My questions are: what would cause this and what if any other damage...
I am wondering if anyone knows if the 94-99 Dakota starter will work in a 440 4speed application. I have searched and see that some of you recommend using it, but I can't find anything conclusive on auto only or if it will bolt right up to the 4 speed as well.( 1970 model year 440)

I'm changing my cap and rotor and the stamped #1 on the cap seems to be one hole off of where the #1 plug wire is on the old cap. Should I pay any attention to the # stamped on the new cap or just put the wires where they were on the old one? That's what my inner voice is telling me to do...

I'm looking for a phenolic spacer for my road runner. I have the N96 hood so I have to have a thin spacer. I've read the the four hole spacer gives better performance response in the low end and mid range, where the open spacer is better at top end.
