Well I am having no luck selling my Satellite. I really need the money, so I am dropping it down to $5,500. This is a STEAL for this car. This is the absolute lowest I can go.
1971 Plymouth Satellite. I am the third owner. The second owner bought it in 1978 and mostly garage kept it since 2011. Little to no rust. Really solid all around. Some minor bubbling in rear wheel wells. Original 318 with 154,000 miles. A/C works (just charged it), new fuel pump...
I am in anguish that I have to sell my 1971 Plymouth Satellite. But my medical bills are piling up on me. It is currently on Ebay and Craigslist. I really need to sell it as quickly as possible because my credit cards are almost maxed out. I'd rather make a deal outside of Ebay so I don't...
It's comes from having worn out front shocks! Actually is was like that when I bought it so I am not sure if anything has been done to it to get that look. But it really could use some new shocks.
Hey guys I just bought a new spoiler for my trunk lid. I am not sure exactly how it mounts in the trunk. There are mounting areas punched into the underside of the trunk lid but I do not have the mounting brackets that go there yet. Can it be installed without the brackets? I was wondering...
I just think the 71-74 body style looks better with bigger rims because it fills out the wheel wells better. I know a lot of old school guys don't like it but I think it looks better. I am not talking about 20" or 22" ghetto wagon wheels but a good 17"-18" (fronts) to 20" max (rears) look great.
Here's a couple of Challengers I found that I really like the paint schemes. I think these would look great on a roadrunner body style. I really like the black and gold one.
Ahhh. I didn't think about that. I guess it would be fine with a satin clear coat over it. I may just do that. I am debating on just how black to go. I am thinking of painting everything black. Even black bumpers and black rims. But I am worried it may be too much black. Anybody seen one like...
I do like that black!! Especially the blacked out grill. My car has a tone tone paint job now. It looks pretty good but I am not crazy about the tan/gold color. But I do like the two tone paint job. Here's is mine as it is.
Thanks guys. This is kind of what I had in mind. These have to be 17" or 18" rims right? I don't like them too big. Not into the the ghetto look. But these look great.
I am looking for paint ideas for my 71 Satellite. I am thinking about a black cherry paint job. Anyone ever seen that on a Satellite or Roadrunner? Right now I am in the "looking and planning stage" so I am open to any paint ideas. I am not really interested in painting it with the...
Here's my 1971 Satellite. I found it on Craigslist and it's being shipped to Bristol TN as we speak! Supposed to be here Monday or Tuesday. I can't wait!
That's the pic of the car I posted in the link above. You can see the slight ridges in the front lip on the hood on the left and the right. It still looks good though.
