Water leak inside the A pillar

Follow up. I cleaned, as best I could, all around the top of the windshield. Applied the Flex seal, let it "dry" and tested for leaks. Did this a few times. Removed the interior windshield top trim as I found some leaking under it. The leak was running to the A pillar. Root problem appears...

    Water leaks

I also have a water leak that runs down the passenger A pillar. Just finished pulling of,the top and side exterior trim. Ran some water over the top of the windshield, not a forceful flow. Working alone. Turned off the water and got inside the car to observe. Yup, water dripping down A...

Water leak inside the A pillar

Well, I finally got the windshield sides and top trim off. I had to remove all of the sealant in order to get the trim off. It looked like the installer did not want the trim to fall off. It looks like one or more of the trim clips are leaking. When I tested the windshield for leaks, I found...

Water leak inside the A pillar

I have not taken any window trim yet but looking for some suggestions. When it rains, sometimes the passenger A pillar will have water running down the inside of it. The water exits under the dash and drips on the mat. If I cover the corner of the passenger side windshield at the junction of...

    Sending unit

I have a note from National Moparts the fuel sending units sold of late might be/are/were linear, the OEM original sending units were NON-LINEAR. My posts about fuel gauge issues were about the Autometer 5715, a non-linear gauge. Waiting for more information, this is just a FYI note in case you...

Have you ever had the lower crank pulley explode?

The pulley came with the engine. It was out of a motor home, 1971 Dodge 400 block. Would like to think it was OEM original. No way to determine its heritage.

Have you ever had the lower crank pulley explode?

Thanks for the reply. I bought the parts off a Canadian web site, NationalMoparts.com. They have no info on bolt grade but suggested 18 ft lb and some loctite blue.

Have you ever had the lower crank pulley explode?

That is a very scary failure. I hope that there was no secondary damage. I finally bought a 2 groove pulley from 440 Source. Been looking for the torque specs for those 6 bolts but I have not been able to pin down the number. I was cautioned that over torquing could cause a failure. Could...

Bad ignition switch or wiring problem? Autometer fuel and Painless Wiring

Thanks for the reply. Need to make a repair plan for next spring. The weather is not cooperating for drive way repairs. Will collect all the information that I can. The non OEM wiring adds to part of my confusion as most of the information is on the OEM harnesses. Immediate peg past full.
