Around these parts, a 25 year shingle is only good for 15 years. I don’t think the insurance company is going to say oh, ok put that stuff on and it’s good for 20 years.
When I ordered the pump, I was thinking it might be a 76. I searched for a 76 Duster 360. I just searched for a 73 Satellite 360. Same part number. Same psi. Fittings match up the same orientation.
Yes on numbers on passenger (and driver) side. Front of passenger side has something barely visible. I went back to my first camera and found this pic before too much brushing.
Pic doesn’t zoom in very well, but looking at number, top is pretty straight. Top right is closed, left top is open...
I can barely get one finger there. My first thought was to use a small piece of sandpaper. That didn’t work so well. Part of the problem is the rough surface of that area makes it look and feel like something else, depending on the light.
I can’t believe I didn’t pay more attention to this when I bought motor from the builder. I had to buy a fuel pump for my 360 and just put in that it was a 76 year.i don’t know if it matters. But I’m thinking it is a 73. I can’t see the date by just looking. I had to slip phone up there and take...
I won’t worry about a tax write off, but that may be a good idea. My wife bought me a subscription of Playboy mags back in the day, she told me that they had some good articles. They were stored up in the attic and were falling apart, so not very hard to get rid of them.
My car used to be my daughter’s car for a couple years, driving back and forth to high school. The car was supposed to go to her, but I doubt that the headers would survive one trip down her road to her house. Looks like my grandson would get it, but now he’s building a house out on hunting...
We have 3 bathrooms in our house and all of them have a basket full of of old magazines. We really need to get rid of them. Having said that, I have a big box of old National Geographic in my garage, not as old as some mentioned here , but from 60’s and 70’s. Maybe a garage sale?
My friend and camping buddy got his grill handed down to him by his father and I don’t think it has ever been cleaned. We camp with 8 to 10 others and every morning a lot of meat gets cooked along with mostly eggs. I didn’t use to worry about it , but I sure wouldn’t mind him getting some of the...
Thanks everyone, it was hectic and memorable day. We had about 20 friends over for dinner. Fridges contents in two big ice chests. The new fridge delivered a little bit late in the middle of this and they had to take the front door off. We had way too much bbq, so my wife had the delivery guys...
You’re probably right. That’s one of the things that I replaced a few years ago. Took me a while to find a date on the fridge. It says 2006. I guess it’s time. I could probably keep it running, but she says she wants the new one.
Wow! 55 years ago today, my lovely bride and I were married. I was 19 and she was 18. People told us we were too young and it would not last, well, probably not, but we’re still going. She is always with me at cruise ins and car shows. I don’t know what I would do without her. All she asks is...
My wife was driving her Ford Fiesta and got halfway up a muddy hill on that road and bogged down. I had her back down to where we changed places and I got it up the hill. We call it our little bubba truck.
Headed to the dam, camping tomorrow for four days and then on to Cades Cove four more days. I’m going to have to drive through some of that mess to get there. Last year, we took the “4 wheel road” from the cove loop to the Tail. We don’t eat out much in that area. Sort of like me avoiding Disney...
