TCI converter. Can't say I'm gonna buy another.

I've heard everything from to much line pressure, cooler not big enough, too small of transmission lines, poor converter construction to bad engine to chassis ground. I'm at a loss myself. I guess I'm gonna fix the engine and...
Well bad news. We have determined that the torque converter under a load created to much pressure on the crankshaft and wiped out the thrust bearing. Anyone wanna buy a car? Lol
Ron it sounds like a low end knock but if u Rev it up it goes away. I pulled the valve cover off of it seems like the lifters are losing oil pressure because with #2 up on compression u can depress the lifter down with the rocker arm and push rod by hand about a 3/16's of an inch
I haven't checked anything yet cause I had to go to work. Gas is new and the timing is at 38*. I'm just looking for a direction. later today I was gonna pull the valve covers and see if any of the lifters have collapsed.
Ok guys. I got my engine put together and ran on the dyno. It made decent numbers. 520hp and 530 ftlbs torque at 4400. I have a comp roller thumper cam and all the necessary valve train components per comp and my engine builder ( who I would recommend to anyone building a mopar or any engine)...
I actually laid a rag on top of the air cleaner and put a was of grease on it and shut the hood. Opened it back up and there was no grease on the hood. I bought new Schumacher poly engine mounts and the motor hardly moves so I think I'm okay I hope. That's not to say when they get worn out a...
I don't know how you corrected the photos but thank you! The garage had to be big enough for my truck to fit in but when I had car parts scattered every where it was tough to get it on too! Never the less we got it done! It only took most of my adult life. I started collecting parts when I was...
Finally got my fenders and hood on! I was so happy that I didn't have to cut my hood braces for the crossram to fit. Friday she gets exhaust then an alignment. Then I just have to wait for decent weather!

Not sure why these pics uploaded sideways put hopefully you can still...
Thanks. I just have the engine setting there. Nothing is bolted in tight. I wasn't sure if it was better to go in from the bottom or top. I hate to scratch anything especially the tti headers. I know alot of people assemble everything on the K frame then lower the car over top but I wasn't sure...
Can anyone tell me the best way to install headers on the max wedge. Looking to see if there is a simple way that someone has done before or if it just plain stinks no matter what way you do it. Thanks in advance.
Does anyone know if you have to cut the hood braces to run a factory cross ram and factory style repop air cleaners on a 64 plymouth? I don't want a hood scoop and really don't wanna cut the braces but will if I have too. Thanks in advance
Boy have I got a deal for you! Lol I have a wrecked 2 door and a complete but rusty four door. And a lot of 64 parts. Maybe your intrested...maybe not but I do have them and would like to get rid of them both. Before I speak to soon though....I offered my engine guy first dibs on them. If for...
Hey guys. Does any one know of an aftermarket upper radiator hose part number for a 64 Plymouth. I have both the straight and 45 degree water neck for the pump housing but would rather use the straight one cuz its in better shape. My radiator outlet is on the passenger side on the top. I see...
Hey guys. I bought a set of Mopar performance after market max wedge heads from summit and the valve covers are six bolt style instead of four. I have a set of four bolt but need the six to work on these heads. Where whould be the best place to get a set with the proper oilfill and breather cap...
