Do I need to pull the instrument cluster part way out to R&R tach?

Those avatar pictures are small. People accidentally use the wrong forum frequently. The members here that take the time to help others shouldn’t have to fill in the blanks. Posting a cryptic question isn’t helping anyone. Don’t make it hard for people to help you. I’ll admit, I’d pull the...

Do I need to pull the instrument cluster part way out to R&R tach?

You'd make the job harder by leaving all the obstacles in the way. You could take your socks off without removing your shoes but the socks would have to be cut to shreds. There are too many components to work around. The pebble grain cover has to come off, The clear plastic cover has spring...

I think it looks better than Jigsaw. I’m just burned out on cars with matte or flat finishes. It is way overdone.

That car was in a YouTube video I saw last night. I commented on it… Now I’m not one to abide by 100% OEM standards but come on… That car is a resto-mod. The narrator said that the car was fully restored. No 1970 Charger ever had a matte finish paint job. None had a 4 speed and a steering...

Remember this one? It was in either Hot Rod or Car Craft magazine in the early 90s. I loved the fat tire stance.

How about a weird Daytona? A front end that high would be counterproductive. Imagine the LIFT at 90 mph!

My goal was a modern interpretation of a 5 spoke like a Cragar. Oh, and by the way....The A-12 cars had NO hubcaps! They just had black steelies with chrome lug nuts.

If I had a buck for every dude that talked trash about my choice in wheels, I could have bought another set of them.

Hey, I get annoyed with some members too. The IGNORE feature helps me keep from getting pissed off and going on a rant worthy of a temporary ban!

The horse isn't dead if people keep riding it. If you don't like the comments, put those that make them on IGNORE. I agree with them though. To me, the small hub caps look okay on Police cars, Taxi cabs and the 1965 and older cars before styled steel wheels became common. I'm not a fan of them...
