Lowering rear end - what's the proper way?

Kid, I just can’t bring myself to hit ‘like’ or ‘thanks’ for a picture like that. Besides, I think that’s my neighbor’s daughter!

Disc Caliper Positioners, who uses them?

Don’t have either part on my pin type calipers. No rattles or squeaks.

    Power steering hose mess

I went to my local Deere dealer and had my high pressure hose made to fit right. It has the 90 degree fittings that are needed, just the right length. Didn’t cost any more than some of the reproduction hoses.

    1963 Fury PS pump leak

Try Steer and Gear or Firm Feel. I think both are vendors on here. My opinion is now is a good time to change over a Saginaw pump. You’d need different brackets and hoses, but a much superior pump.

Brake System Diagram and pictures? 1971 Dodge Charger

I’ve got parts manuals for all of my cars, they show a lot of details on how things are positioned and put together. But I’m not sure if they show much detail on brake lines, I’d have to look. I think I’d start by taking a lot of pictures of what is still on the car and go from there, a lot of...

    Proportioning brake valve mount issues

I’d fabricate a new bracket to mount the valve underneath the MC or to mount it to the frame. My valve is mounted to the top of the frame on my 65. I sure wouldn’t mount it over the exhaust manifold, and I don’t think you can mount it higher than the MC. And if you have room I’d change the...

    Ride Height Issue

My 65 has to be rolled a few feet before it settles to its original ride height after being jacked up in the front. Have you tried that?

Backing plate bolt question -- newer bolts don't need cotter pin?

Your original bolts have a much longer shoulder, the newer ones are weaker in that area. I wouldn’t use them.

1970 PS 6 cyl to PS 318 OEM or aftermarket steering?

Steer and Gear sets up at some of the major shows where you can exchange parts to avoid shipping costs. You’d need to contact them for details.

1970 PS 6 cyl to PS 318 OEM or aftermarket steering?

Never had any problems with my Steer and Gear (Columbus Ohio) rebuilds. You’ll need different mounting brackets for your Saginaw pump, readily available new or used.

    Steering pump shaft seal installation.

Did you use any sealer on the outer circumference of the seal before you installed it? Depending on the application determines what kind of sealer to use, I’d probably use a thin film of Loctite red gasket maker on that seal. I’ve seen seals leaking around the outside of the seal many times.

Steer and Gear, or Firm Feel?

I’ve had the same experience as Don. As I live closer to Columbus, I’ve ordered parts and services from Steer and Gear and picked them up at shows to save on shipping. Something you might have to consider.

    Power to manual steering box

I’d be curious to know just exactly where the leaks are coming from. Everything being new, is there any warranty from Borgeson?

    Front wheels leaning

Does your alignment shop know how to align your car? Seriously, not a lot of alignment shops know how to align these older Chrysler products. As Bill76 says, more info needed.
