I went to my local Deere dealer and had my high pressure hose made to fit right. It has the 90 degree fittings that are needed, just the right length. Didn’t cost any more than some of the reproduction hoses.
Try Steer and Gear or Firm Feel. I think both are vendors on here. My opinion is now is a good time to change over a Saginaw pump. You’d need different brackets and hoses, but a much superior pump.

I’d fabricate a new bracket to mount the valve underneath the MC or to mount it to the frame. My valve is mounted to the top of the frame on my 65. I sure wouldn’t mount it over the exhaust manifold, and I don’t think you can mount it higher than the MC. And if you have room I’d change the...
Never had any problems with my Steer and Gear (Columbus Ohio) rebuilds. You’ll need different mounting brackets for your Saginaw pump, readily available new or used.
Did you use any sealer on the outer circumference of the seal before you installed it? Depending on the application determines what kind of sealer to use, I’d probably use a thin film of Loctite red gasket maker on that seal. I’ve seen seals leaking around the outside of the seal many times.
I’ve had the same experience as Don. As I live closer to Columbus, I’ve ordered parts and services from Steer and Gear and picked them up at shows to save on shipping. Something you might have to consider.
Does your alignment shop know how to align your car? Seriously, not a lot of alignment shops know how to align these older Chrysler products.
