I haven’t seen these reproduced, find a good used one. To repair yours, I might look at some of the Flex Seal products. I know, the commercials are goofy, but they have various types of sealing tape. There is a big display at the local Menards.
After 3 different urologists, I found one that I like and trust. Hard to find a good one, seems like there is a lot of goofy ones out there. Going in for another MRI/biopsy in Sept.
Man, don’t give up, fight it. We’re pulling for you.
Hoping that somebody would reproduce those valves or a workable replacement for them.
As a person with prostate cancer, whose father and 2 uncles died from it, I’m hoping to have mine removed before my Gleeson number starts going up. Maybe this fall. I hope you get good news, good luck.
The upper hose is 1 1/2", find a hose with the right elbows, you can extend it with 1 1/2" sink drain pipe, if you don't like the chrome, paint it. I couldn't find a long enough upper hose and that's what I did. I can get a better picture if you need it.
Thanks for posting the pictures, radiator looks really nice. The angle of the second picture makes it look like the filler neck sticks up a little high. Have you checked for hood clearance? The reason I'm asking is that the aluminum radiator I bought from Mancini a few years back for my 65, the...
If you're talking about Engineered Cooling Products, I've been considering one from this company for my 64. Looks like a reasonably priced, well built product. Hopefully somebody with experience with this product will chime in.
I wondered if that had some type of soldered in plug. After I posted that I got to thinking that you were talking about a heater box insulation kit. I had a NOS valve for my 65 Belvedere that I had bought 30+ years ago when you could still get them. Wish I'd bought a half dozen of them. Keep...
Your valve (elbow) appears somewhat different than mine. Napa offers a rebuild kit for the valve, but consists only of a rectangular diaphragm, no o-ring. Could you post a picture of your kit when you get it? I thought all these 62-65s used the same Ranco heater valve. Thanks.
I haven't done this before but I've thought very seriously about the same thing when I get to that point on my 64 Savoy. Adapt some type of elbow to the core and add a ball valve or some type of heater control valve to the hard line. As many of these that are out there I would have thought...
I buy the pre mixed coolant. It has the filtered ionized water already in it. Been using the pre mixed stuff in our diesels for years with no problems.
