Pretty rare to get your money out of them. Not your everyday kind of money making Mopar. No sir. You have to love them. Which I obviously do. You either love them or hate them. Us F-body guys were always looked down upon back in the 80's/90's.
Oh it's cool alright. Only Mopar option back then. Great platform 340/8.75 bolts right up. Ask me how I know. I guess you could of drove around in a mustang.
I just read up on this thread. To each his own.
Well I love my 80' Volare with the "Roadrunner" package. Had it since I was 17. Wouldn't part with it for the world. Lived my life around it.
1980 was the last year they put Roadrunner decals on a Plymouth. lol
No mine didn't come with the trim but I kind of like the look of them. I took the gamble a bought a set just to see if it would look right. The original owner had two pieces of aluminium on each side with pinstriping on it. Attached with 3-M tape. Caught my eye.
That's the route that I might go for installing my rocker trim. Oh I have the clips but I just can't bring myself to drilling holes in my mint rockers. And I haven't really decided if I'm going to put them on. I will "stick" them on to see what they look like. And decide from there.
