If it’s just the springs that are broken, any good trim shop can replace those. I’ve got a couple of 4 door front seats, a 64 and a 65, you can have one if you come and get it.

Not that I know of. There was an pretty extensive thread on here about a year or so ago about repairing and recovering them.

You’re right, box store carriage bolts are grade 2. I get grade 5 carriage bolts at my Deere dealer.

Unless it needs to be totally original, just use a carriage bolt. A LOT cheaper.

You will need the curved sheet metal pieces that go at the top of the panels. They hook over the top of the inner door frame, the window fuzzies also attach to them.

I think those staples are reproduced, but in the past I’ve used a small pop rivet and daubed a little black paint on the heads. Really not noticeable, just make sure they don’t contact the glass.

I wonder if justdashes.com would be able to do anything with them? Check out their website. They say they restore hard plastic interior trim. 818-780-9005

I have used 1/8” pop rivets before, dab a little black paint on the heads, nobody has ever noticed. A lot easier than staples.
