If you go w/a transport I highly recommend Intercity Transport. They are not a broker co and the drivers are their own employees. I’ve used them twice with very good experiences both times. You’ll have the # of the driver and/or they will call you on occasion from the road. If you did as you say...
Clicking on the link in budnicks post I see the Hulkman has dropped another $25 from when a purchased about a month ago. Beyond that their #3 Avapow is peanut at about $75 less than Hulkman. No matter they all seem like good plays.
Verdict is in: Ok so I received both units and carry cases. Scoped them both out carefully. Both have their advantages especially for my expected light duty use. The NOCO is smaller and more compact but the off brand case is actually larger than necessary, and of course all in less expensive by...
I just watched your video. Thought wow $89 is a lot less than w/the evil empire. So I checked it - must be old vid because now it’s $118 on Kickstarter - still $10 diff from Amazon - but not enough to move the needle. I guess if this is my choice I’ll keep the Amazon unit.
I have the Hulkman and the NOCO being delivered today. Looking forward to seeing which I prefer. And yes this was a really good thread. Eliminates a lot of hassle and I worry about my wife even tho we have AAA…. I want to have this option….
If it’s a modest driver I’d go w/the repop. If you’re really building or have a beauty I’d go w/a rechrome. Me personally - I hate noticing imperfections on something that I want to be very nice and kept that way. I would see them every time I even glanced that way….
Ask all the babes getting the very popular BBL - Brazilian Butt Lift. Those babes carry more junk in the trunk than an SUV and I guess some really love that look - me not being one of them…..Lol
Yes - you can technically recharge most with these units - including having a running or charged car recharge it as long as you have the proper ports in the car and I suppose off the battery itself if you don’t - just like your car can recharge your phone etc… Same thing It may take a bit longer.
Actually I bought one of each to see which one I like best /w case too. The NOCO /additional off brand case is $117. The Hulkman w/additional off brand case is $150 - but twice the capacity. Same size units and cases. I expect light duty needs. A just in case item…
This was a great post for me to see and read. I’ve had two of these do it all versions - Don’t remember the brands but bought one at Walmart - both pieces of ****. I got rid of them pretty quickly but have always secretly wanted another - never sure of the brand. This time I don’t want the “do...
Not sure - if you invested a little in its cosmetics $1000 maybe. It looks pretty solid. As it sits half that. But honestly those are educated guesses. I got mine w/the whole nine yards - Intake/carbs/air cleaner/hood. The originals are not an easy find and they’re 3x better than any repop. I’ve...
It can be done a lot cheaper and easier than what’s being said. I lifted my X by 2” by buying “add a leaf” from Summit. 2 half leafs - IIRC cost was about $39 per or both - can’t remember. But they lifted the car up exactly as I wanted for peanuts. Just add to your stack. That s their purpose -...
I know you want to keep Ma Mopars original undercoating and I agree with you 1000 %. I had stored my X in a pole barn out in the country in MN for some 30 yrs on a loose rock flooring before pulling it out to restore. My biggest worry was the probability of a rotted underbody. Not to be. The...
You’re referring to an 06. I’m not. I owned one a couple yrs newer than that and never put a drop of oil in between changes. I bought used and kept if for about 9 years or so. Never a lick of problems - oil or anything.
You say you want something to haul around the grandkids. I highly recommend the Honda CRV 2015 or 16 or if necessary maybe a couple years earlier. Big enough, AWD and reliable as the sun coming up. If you can find a Lexus ES300 03 or newer - another phenomenal, reliable car. I still have the one...
