    Its running a little rough...

Now that you're running on all 8 cylinders I think you should do the vacuum tuning on the carb again.

dodge charger falls and stalls slightly when cold. Won't rund when hot.

I know it would be a hassle but you have spent a lot of time already chasing, would it be possible to put a carb on there and see if the EFI is the problem? It would be nice to know.

    Function test for fan clutch

But......I took the fan off of an original Mopar the other day and it had place bolts holding it on. And I don't think place bolts take washers, do they? And that guys drawing.....you can run the fan an inch from the shroud if you want to, but if your motor mounts are sloppy things can get...

    Function test for fan clutch

Well.....you stick your fingers down there and give the fan a spin with your hand. If it stops fairly quickly, it is like new. If it spins around and around, it's wore out. It's that simple. I went and worked on a 69 Road Runner with the original fan last week. The fan spun round and round. The...

Edelbrock Performer RPM 705 HP top end kit for Gen II HEMI 426-572 cubic inch engines

I love watching Nick, especially the dyno runs and comparisons. I'll tune in. I'll take a guess and say the Edelbrock intake and carbs should make a good amount more power. Good luck with your project.

Edelbrock Performer RPM 705 HP top end kit for Gen II HEMI 426-572 cubic inch engines

You may not have to. But he said he was a 426, so I take that to mean 4.25" bore. That's where the problem comes in. Most people today are larger bores and then there is plenty of clearance.

Edelbrock Performer RPM 705 HP top end kit for Gen II HEMI 426-572 cubic inch engines

The cam does sound a hair big but that's because they wanted to make 700 hp. You could just get their heads and roll your own kit with a smaller cam. The Edelbrock Victor Jr. heads use a larger intake valve, so you will have to notch the bore with a sanding roll to make it look like this for...

    426 Hemi Clutch Replacement

I thought dual-discs weren't supposed to wear out? The last one I used was a McLeod dual-disc. I don't think my leg would like single disc.

    Pan gasket or ?

Sorry, I read that backwards. A gasket is ok there. I think you can get instructions from 440 Source. It's always good to have instructions.

    Pan gasket or ?

I think you are tightening to much for a gasket. Go with The Right Stuff.

Should you save old parts or sell them?

I didn't know a Mopar guy ever sold anything. I thought they were all hoarders.

    Gen 2 Hemi

You should call Ray and see what he thinks on a timeline. I didn't think he could get it out in a year with his backlog. But what you are asking for is easier to build than some Hemis. When I was there he had just gotten a Callies crank in for a build. He had it on order for 2 years. I wish you...

    Gen 2 Hemi

I consider Ray Barton to be the best. The problem is every time I talk to him, and when I went to see him last spring, he's 50 hemis behind. 50. It doesn't take a calculus major to figure out it would take some time for him to build an engine for you. I couldn't build 50 hemis in a decade. Plus...

    Gen 2 Hemi

The parts are roughly $20,000. This doesn't include water pump, fuel pump, distributor, intake, carb, starter. There will be some freight, tax, labor to build etc. So your numbers are about right.
