Ram truck SLT to SRT in 329 easy steps!

That's cool. Mine is a crew cab, bought new in '04 (I wanted a shorty but the wife put the kaibosh on that plan) and it came with the 3.92 and at one point I put 'upgraded' shocks on it, had the 5.7 tuned up and it would corner awesomely on the curvy foothill roads. Then I put a leveling kit...

Ram truck SLT to SRT in 329 easy steps!

Big agree here. My '04 Hemi Ram has had some repainted spots due to accidents that are now peeling (modern clear coat is ****) but I still prefer it over a new truck as there's no GPS and no interfering electronic babysitter. The dial "shifter" so close to where the A/C knob was is another thing...

    My 69 Coronet project

So true! I love that my car is at the point where I can fire it up and go drive it any old time, but I also like the project planning, the junkyard and swapmeet hunts...always having something "on the list". Keeps it interesting.

Hm yeah maybe the Plymouth metal has slight variations compared to the Charger's factory pieces? Gotta love hot roddin'.

    Lookie what $5000 buys you....

Fan clutch bolts with that shorty clutch = "A real pain in the dick"... -Kern Dog  And I couldn't agree more! But yeah that's the trick, slide one in at an angle and only get it started so the fan can be pulled away from the clutch just enough to angle the next bolt in and start it. Then...

    Lookie what $5000 buys you....

Good find Greg! Knowing what you're doing with body work and metal like that sure opens the door to a lot more possibilities..as much as the Charger's always been my favorite I doubt I could take on such a project unfortunately. Good luck with it!

Engine build for my 68 Charger

The 440src balancer is nice because it's marked to 50 degrees. Unless you're real lucky be prepared to have it honed out though, .001 was good on the couple of them I've used.
