Bullshit. That bent-up box IS Mancini's fault. Maybe the shipper's the one that crumpled it, but Mancini knows better than to send something like that out without putting it in a second box.

I used to like them. But they've been a pain to deal with in the last couple of years. Covid's no excuse for not being able to process payments properly or communicate in a timely fashion. After some pretty unsavory experiences with them I don't see the need deal with them anymore.

Call someone that's well-versed in your local codes and practices. Remember...the NEC is a MINIMUM requirement and the 'authority having jurisdiction' has the ultimate say, and can (and often does) supersede the NEC.

Fluke T-1000 multi-tester... how many times have I heard "yeah power's off" only to find things were wired wrong or mislabeled, and still hot...yes I use it on cars too!
Just saw this thread...got some sparkys in fbbo land nice! Local 100 Fresno CA here..OP, probably a little overkill but if you can swing it use #8 it will avoid any issues later on..but yep motor full amps should determine.
