To be accurate, the LA series and B/RB engines used different harnesses. The distributor wiring is shorter on LA series harnesses.

They made more than one style of those. Aluminum water pumps have a taller thermostat housing mount and one of the mounting kits places the A/C compressor slightly higher to compensate.
