I bought Hooker Competition ceramic for my 440 68 GTX during my recent restore. They fit pretty well. Not TTI - but also half the cost. Would do it again.
Dynamat is decent for heat and sound. You can get better deals on rolls of it on Amazon. It's a universal product and can be applied in sections. It lays down pretty easy and is sticky back stuff so it adheres well.
I hope others chime in. I just upgraded to the 100 amp single wire using 8 gauge wire to replace my 60 amp. I was so advised by a master mechanic to make the swap.
I used these guys for my rubber trim stuff and was very satisfied. Out of Minnesota I believe. It is no doubt expensive - but when not available or poor quality - you take what you can get of quality.
I ran my 440 for years without a thermostat. I didn't know if it had any effect good or bad on the motor. It always ran a little cool. That was when I was young, dumb, and didn't have any money. Now I'm old, dumb and have a few more bucks.
