The 67-69 Barracudas has gauge clusters with gauges like that. They had what looked like 1/4 sized gauges that fit at 12:00, 3:00, 6:00 and 9:00.
It never occurred to me to pull them from one model and try to fit them into another!
An old guideline was to pick a header with a tube size that is close to the size of the exhaust valve.
Stock 906, 346 and 452 heads use a 1.74" valve, right? That means an 1 7/8" header is right in the ball park.

When I did my 5 speed conversion, I sandblasted my top plates and painted them matte black.
I love chrome but to me, this looks better than the stock setup.

The assertion that the later "B" knuckle/spindle is to be avoided is junk science. He sticks by the opinion like a biased politician. The later B knuckle/spindle is fine to use and Rick Ehrenberg's opinion had been proven wrong...

I'll agree that the gauges are really cool in the first generation Chargers. The interiors were nice. I can't get into the exterior styling though. I'd rather have the same year Coronet.
