    Mystery gauge?

The 67-69 Barracudas has gauge clusters with gauges like that. They had what looked like 1/4 sized gauges that fit at 12:00, 3:00, 6:00 and 9:00. It never occurred to me to pull them from one model and try to fit them into another!

    Looking for header suggestions

Yes. Also, the collectors aim straight back, requiring 2 pends in each pipe to fit under the humps in the trans crossmember.

    Looking for header suggestions

An old guideline was to pick a header with a tube size that is close to the size of the exhaust valve. Stock 906, 346 and 452 heads use a 1.74" valve, right? That means an 1 7/8" header is right in the ball park.

    Painted console top plate

It seemed like the same "pot metal" material as my original 1970 plates.

    Painted console top plate

It was a '67 top plate but I don't know if it was from a C body. I bought it from a member here.

    Painted console top plate

When I did my 5 speed conversion, I sandblasted my top plates and painted them matte black. I love chrome but to me, this looks better than the stock setup.

    66/67 charger in wrecking yard

The owner of that wrecking yard is a pretty fair guy. Every May, the nearby town of Maxwell has an annual FREE car show and the owner of Big M brings a few cars. More than once, he has invited people to walk the yard after the show.

    Torsion bars

That "rattle your fillings" myth has been told as many times as the "thin wall 440" lie. I have 1.15" TBs in my car and it rides fine.

    Torsion bars

It looks like .92s were the largest B body bars. I see no distinction for A/C for any B body model.

Sorry these come up so small.

    disk brake conversion recommendation

That article is helpful but the author is as stubborn as an ex wife. The assertion that the later "B" knuckle/spindle is to be avoided is junk science. He sticks by the opinion like a biased politician. The later B knuckle/spindle is fine to use and Rick Ehrenberg's opinion had been proven wrong...

    disk brake conversion recommendation

You will find that a front disc, rear drum setup works quite well. New cars embraced the rear discs as a means to save weight.

Hey there, Maybe check out the PST brake kits. They are a sponsor of this site. Also, there are lots of Mopar guys and gals that would recommend Dr Diff/AKA Cass Eslick. He is a supplier of many brake-axle-gear components.

The "Iceman" is back on the road, looking for Hondas

No offense but I don't find Hondas to be intimidating. I like the theme of your story, just not the Honda part...

One Man's Trash Is Another Man's Charger.

Uhhh.... I'll agree that the gauges are really cool in the first generation Chargers. The interiors were nice. I can't get into the exterior styling though. I'd rather have the same year Coronet.
