    Let me start. The only advantage with manifolds is the starter will be easier to remove. 23 hp is enough to justify a set of headers on anything in my opinion. Headers, aluminum intake, more compression, and the correct cam, it all adds up in the end.

    I have an H pipe. I wouldn't think there would be a difference between 66 and 67 Charger's as far as headers are concerned.

    As stated, these are 10+ years old ceramic coated Patriots. The car always sat on my carport until last Summer. I didn't have to ding to force fit them anywhere at all.

    I have a set of ceramic coated Patriot headers on my 440 in my 1969 roadrunner. They have been installed for over ten years. The fit was perfect and still look great after all this time.
