.040 is not necessarily "done". What if it has thick cylinder walls? A sonic test would tell you for sure. I've read of several 440s that were .060 over. People also sleeve cylinders on heavily overbored or damaged blocks. Ever heard of that?

I have several single groove crank pulleys but have no idea what they were on originally. I have taken in parts from several sources, stuff in boxes with no ID tags, etc.
