This would be more interesting IMO, but I am not sure many would be willing to be that transparent.
I would.
Garmin Catalyst™ Driving Performance Optimizer | Racing
IMO, I have seen many well intentioned pics like above, meant to be informative., but coming up a bit short. First, I believe we all can agree at some point all headlights are working, two, there is no way a screen shot viewed on a computer monitor can indicate intensity, etc of a headlight, and...
A worthy goal, and LED's will achieve that, now that so many have already upgraded to a headlight relay system to basically try and achieve the same goal (myself included).:(
"I want brighter lights"
Then you become part of the problem IMO. What you really should desire is to see better, by taking whatever light you have, no matter how bright, and directing it towards the roadway, thru better optics, and not into oncoming driver's eyes, should be the goal. Simply...
Thank you. What makes it workable IMO, is I lowered the radiator a inch plus, then deepened the rad upper crossmember, stamped 5 large openings in it for intake air, that is divided horizontally by a CF divider right above the rad inlet air. Maybe I'll find a pic later. Its CF, white inside to...
Both, there is hidden underneath those a diverter for the PU for the rear axle cooler.
The main baffling however is partly visible to keep excess turn induced axle lubricant "jamming" up the big Ford axle sealed bearings, for no real purpose that I can see.
Since I believe in the motto on cars that "everything effects everything else", not sure if any particular area is more worthy here IMO.
Understand pics below of the thousands I have are of only three of my "fleet". over the past couple of decades. Not sure I need narrate them or note my...
I'm sure, but from my life experience, most go astray on the very first engineering step, and the result then often resorts to GIGO.
I apply a five step very similar process.
Ultimately, bang for buck applies.
I think going to town with a spot welder would have achieved likely equal results in the area of stiffness and take 1/3 the time and effort.
If using any strut rods with a rubber bushing I can see little reason for stiffening an area that a rubber bushing would completely Undermind for any...
I agree, but a hard rear end collision no fault of the driver can be a neck breaking outcome. That's got to be a big downer for the survivor and his family taking care of him.
I fully admit the odds of that outcome are not great, but the solution is so simple and obvious with any seat upgrade...
Looking at a number of these seat upgrades, I'm surprised how little concern here is given to having headrests on street driven cars, or any cars for that matter driven anywhere.
Whiplash can be fatal I am told.
Edit:
Hey member 70Chall440, how about manning up and stop hiding behind Red X...
While we are on the is seat topic, one thing I do I haven't seen mentioned, I if possible do not mount my front seats in line. I don't care how odd it looks. I can't stand having a passenger in my peripheral vision blocking my view (especially if they are wearing a full face helmet on a track...
Stop it, you are going to make me cry.
Get a dictionary that costs more than $5 is my suggestion.
I give out compliments where I see earned, like on this thread. You want unearned compliments, get offline and go see your Mom.
If I was so enthralled ($4) with being "liked", I'd be a politician...
the issue with the mounting of a seat with an integral shoulder belt is the forces on the seat are large and become a 3ft? lever on the base mounting points, which wants to shove the front seat mount thru the floor downward and pull the rear mounts right up thru the floor or do both, remember...
A closet drifter are we?
BTW, I fully support the use of the ignore function here for those that are unable to consider other viewpoints that question the soundness of their own positions.
It's a rather telling option, IMO.
