I just contacted Nick Panaritis of Nick's Garage in Ontario and gave him the link to your message about selling the H pipe. Nick may want to buy for his inventory. Good luck.
I need to buy the Exhaust Pipe Gasket to install my new exhaust system. The part book calls out #2780614. I went to Napa and they didn't have it or just a 3" donut hole gasket for the 2- bolt holes( see photo). I looked online and a cross reference Fel-Pro #60016 came up but it is definetly not...
Yesterday I opened my new exhaust system box from yearone and I did not have the insulator/hanger in the box for the end of the tailpipes. I see in my parts book and on the YEARONE diagram(see attached) that there is a hanger that secures the tailpipe at end. I will call Yearone Monday but...
That's interesting point on the heat tubes. I also removed my battery tray before we put the engine back in and I had my new starter on the engine. Prior to this, I had restored my engine bay by removing everything, removing all the grease and grime of 50 years, primed and painted it. Then I...
I had to remove the driver side exhaust manifold to get the engine into the bay. It wouldn't clear the steering box and column. I knew how difficult it would be if I tried to re-install the steering column AFTER I put the engine in, which is the reason why I installed the steering column to the...
Ron, I have seen a video on You Tube with a guy using that type of application. I had planned to do the same. Too late now, I am sure I woun't be building another Hemi car at my age(68). This is the last one I will ever build. Can't wait ti get it running.
Thanks for asking. I had to drop in from the top. That was not my original plan though. I had a stand on rollers made to the specs I found on this forum. What I didn't calculate correctly was the height of my engine lift was the same as the wheels on the stand. I couldn't get the engine into...
I just received an email from Nick and he told me that they use the sealer in the dining room to not waste the expensive gaskets for the short period of testing. But when it's time for the final installation in the car start gaskets are the choice.
Watch the NICKS GARAGE youtube video:
NO GASKETS on the HEMI, go to time mark 4:05 and watch them install the manifolds with no gaskets but they apply a gasket sealer. Interesting stuff.
