Interesting question. Is there even an anchor point in the roof or B pillar?
During a restoration....that would be an excellent time to weld in a recessed nut to retain a seat belt.
I used XV motorsports 3 point belts in my '70. If they are still selling them, I'll probably install them in my...
Is it common to paint cars such ugly colors in Mexico?
Christ.... the green is terrible and the other one isn't good either.
I like the styling of the cars though.
I mean no offense when I state this but I am amazed to learn that there are car guys that don't have a welder or can't weld. I'm not a great welder but can get it done. Not having that ability really limits the ability to fix and fabricate on these old cars.
I agree that it is a good practice but I don’t believe it is absolutely necessary.

The 1968-69 K member will bolt in your car though, allowing you to use the better design.
The advantage of rear disc brakes is related to reduced wheel lock up and consistent performance. Discs don’t fade as easily and if they are proportioned right, they don’t lock up as easy. Drums tend to have an exponential factor where you can be mildly braking and just a little more pressure...
I saw that you were looking for the plastic splash deflectors. Are they year and model specific? I have several that came from A and B body cars. The B versions seemed to often be riveted on. The A body ones I have were fastened with small screws.
